Our Story
Hi, I'm Shane.
For four years, I lived two lives. By day, I worked a civil service job at the court. Every other spare minute, I poured into a little boutique in Mohegan Lake. I unpacked new arrivals, styled outfits, and got to know the incredible women who walked through my door.
Then one morning, I pulled into the parking lot at the court and just sat there. I realized my heart wasn't in that building anymore. All I could think about was my boutique. And I knew that by only giving it part of me, I was letting down my clients, my employees and myself. They deserved all of me: my full attention, my whole heart and soul.
So I took the leap. I walked away from the safe, steady path, and on April 11, 2026, I opened the doors to our new home in Baldwin Place.
What Bel Air is all about
Bel Air Boutique is effortless, feminine style for real women with real, busy lives: boho-inspired pieces with a hint of western, plus the everyday staples you'll reach for again and again. Pieces that make you feel put-together whether you're running errands, chasing kids, or heading out for a night with the girls. I'm a mom too, so I know the struggle of getting dressed with five minutes and zero patience.
When I'm not at the boutique, you'll probably find me at my sewing machine or covered in frosting, baking a cake. I love making things with my hands, and I love helping you feel beautiful in yours.
